At Mt. Tabor, we understand that people are looking for a church not just for themselves, but for their children also. We have a healthy mix of older and younger people, with quite a few families!
On Sunday nights at 5:45, we have IMPACT, our program for youth. Kenny & Joe teach teens 6th through 12th grade with lessons from God’s Word and activities designed to build lasting and satisfying friendships in the church.
On Sunday nights at 5:55, we have Frog Kids, a program for kids through the 5th grade. Bible lessons, games, and snacks are all provided as kids learn about God in a safe and fun-filled environment.

At every service there is safe, clean, and highly staffed childcare provided for children three years old and younger. We take very seriously the need to protect our children, and all of our members who work with minors undergo background checks and are interviewed by the church leaders.

There is not a dress code at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church for members or guests. Some of our members dress up, and some dress more casually. Our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here.

We don’t invite you to Mt. Tabor for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God’s Word, and a place where you can grow in God’s grace. Please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest unless that is your wish.

At Mt. Tabor, our worship service is a time to gather and sing inspiring music that glorifies God and draws us together as a congregation. We sing a wide variety of songs in a blended style of old and new, from traditional hymns to newer praise songs and choruses. Our music director, Harrison Beckmann, leads from either the piano or the guitar, and will encourage you to sing enthusiastically with us. Our congregation has many different tastes, and we think you’ll find the music to be an encouraging time to help you as you worship God with us.
